Happy Sexy Turkey Hat Day

For everyone who's celebrating Thanksgiving today!

And you read that right - the pattern designer actually calls this pattern sexy!  I
don't know about you but adding "sexy" to the description surely makes me want to
run out and buy this pattern, crochet it up, throw it on and work it in all its sexy glory!

  1. I think that is the most delightful thing i have ever witnessed. I love the crazed look in her eye, the overdone eyeliner, the LEGS FOR STRAPS! HA!

    Totally made of win.

  14. actually that's one of my favorites!

I mean, come on... everything else thinks it's beyond hot when it's the fugliest crochet ever known to man.

This hat has everything, humor, fugliness, crochet... = sexy!

  15. I'm having images of a lapdancing turkey hat running through my mind. And let me say, it is not a pleasant experience.

  16. You can't tell the heart who to love... this hat is for all the turkey fetishists out there...

  17. Even though I laughed out loud for at least two minutes over this one, in the end I have to agree with lolausa: Fabulous, inspired kookiness!!

  18. If you want to keep giggling, check out this designer's other creations on Ravelry. Sexy Turkey Hat is but one of many "just-because-you-CAN-make-it-doesn't-mean-you-SHOULD" creations.

  19. Her whole Etsy shop is on the funky/bizarre side. Now, I like funky and bizarre, but some things are better left alone (having said that, I do like her crochet slippers, they are way cool)

  21. This is, as my dh just said, ex-crochet-ating! (Don't worry, I'll whomp him with something in a minute.)

It might be a good gag gift for "WKRP" fans...

  25. In a bizarro-sort of way, it looks as though the turkey has given birth to a lovely (albeit unfortunate) young lady!

  26. seriously you have to see the rest of her designs...i don't know if her etsy shop has reopened yet, last time i checked she was taking a break.

  27. I. Want. This. pattern.

Its the perfect gift for that awful cow at my work who demands I make her something, cuz i obviously have nothing better to do.

  28. I would wear that for Halloween.

  29. Oh holy Jesus H. Lennon.

    Really, man.
I've never seen anything quite this ugly. This makes the Christmas-Tree hat I saw a lady wearing at the clothes store for pretentious Canadians at the local mall last week look sleek and classy. And that hat was something.
    Cor, that thing is awful.

    I want one.

  30. I love that the person wearing the hat looks so proud and happy. I wish I could wear a turkey hat like that and not care if some people think it is bizarre.

I'm sure the designer is in on the the joke herself. If she could read all of these comments she would probably laught at us for getting all excited.

Crochet with a sense of humor, gotta love it!

  31. My daughter just said it would be the perfect headgear for Silly Hat Day at school.

I, too, thought it was an escapee from the Macy's Parade LOL!!

    God Bless,

  32. I need brain bleach for this one. I've seen fugly, I've seen awful. But now I need Cranium Clorox.

  33. Reminds me of the scene in the big lebowski with the chicks with the bowling pin headdresses. Lol. I'm supposed to be studying for my exam tomorrow morning but I keep getting distracted by the fuglier-than-sin god-awfullness on this site. Lol

  34. I like it too. I am thinking of alterating this to make it into a peacock hat, something actually sexy!
