Anything Fun Fur

Fun Fur Poncho

Especially a poncho!! Fun fur has been recalled already...it's a fire hazard...why would you want to wear it on your body?? Making it many different bright and gaudy colours doesn't help matters either...it still isn't fashion! Check out the model too...can you hear what she's saying? How about:
I am going to work this poncho with all I got...just look at my strut...can't you tell I loveeeeeeeeee this fun fur poncho? No? Okay, how about my big toothy grin? Now do you see how wonderful this fun fur is?? I mean, like, it's in so many different colours too...can't you just love my multi-coloured gaudy poncho? No?? Okay, I give up...I'm going to walk right off the set now and don't anyone follow me...I'm humiliated enough!

Seriously people, fun fur was banned...GET THE HINT!!!

  2. I don't know anyone who could walk so confidently wearing such a monstrosity. They must have paid her well.

  4. Just to set the record straigt, Lion Brand Fun Fur was not recalled. Bernat Fur Out was the recalled item. I cannot find the fiber specs for Fur Out, so I can't comment about the differences.

  5. LOL about the Fun Fur not being recalled...probably true but hey, isn't it pretty much the same thing and still a fire hazard? LOL!

  6. Fur Out fiber content: 92% Viscose/8% Polyester (http://www.yarns-and.com/Bernat/Bernatyarn.htm);

    Fun Fur: 100% polyester. (http://www.lionbrand.com/yarns/funFur.htm)

    Vicose: A type of rayon fiber; made of wood cellulose. It is soft, absorbent and drapes well. Viscose is a refined type of rayon and is often used in linings on high quality garments. Viscose Rayon eyelash and textured yarns are highly flammable

    Polyester: A manufactured fiber known for crease resistance, quick drying, shape retention in garments, high strength, abrasion resistance and minimum care. Polyester is a fiber easily blended with other fibers. In diapers, polyester alone or blended with another material like cotton, adds more durability.

    Note that Sirdar's 'Fizz' viscose rayon yarn is apparently also being recalled for the same reason.

  11. This is so freaking funny. Every time I see this stupid poncho I nearly fall off my chair.
    While this girl is most certainly "workin' it," I just can stop staring at the colors. It is like one of those emergency broadcasting test.

  13. looks confy though. she's probably really warm. idk whta's so bad about the rainbow color poncho. i mean if it were another model, not that boring normal poncho. and if she were wearing something not so colorful 'cause it's too much color like that but it's ok

  14. bright colours - yes ... could look ok on the right person ... and with the right outfit (maybe something long and black ... definitely not summer t-shirt and shorts!)
    ... but it is just me? ... or did they forget to sew up the side seam?!
