Halloween is no excuse...

Even with the best will in the world, and for all the fun that is involved in Halloween (which I do remember from 2 years of living in the States), I dont think you could justify making/wearing this:

Sweaters mother and daughter - yuck

Cant you just imagine the conversation between the gritted teeth?

    ACK! That's a whole new level of holiday fug!

    What is also sad is that they appear to have played tic-tac-toe alone...all pumpkins and no...whatever is the opposite of pumpkins in the game.

    And did you notice the spiders only have SEVEN legs??

    Ya know, the sweater wasn't all that bad, until I scrolled down. The top, middle, and bottom are nice halloween fun (well, maybe in the 80s, but i hear that's all coming back - shoulder pads though?). BUT tic-tac-toe? Why not just a punpkin.

    On, and nice catch, Sam with the 7 legged spiders :)

    This sweter would be just fine if it didn't have the tic tac toe and the spider. If it was one solid color or even made from variegated yarn, so much the better

    There's a point when you just have to put down the hook and say "OK, I'm becoming far too whimsical for my own good."

    That said, I think that someone could convert this pattern into an actual game board with pumpkins and spiders and have it be a neat holiday handout.

    And yes, I do realize that I'm only a few precious steps from saying "OK, I'm becoming far too..." LOL

    I love the shaping of the sweaters, why did they put something so ugly on them? And yeah, if you are going to that much detail, you can at least have an eight legged spider.

    OMG - SPOOKY! just doesn't cover these lookalike on fright night combo. Let's hope they have bags for their heads so their neighbours don't recognize them.

    Ugh, ok this one is bad. The hair on the models does scream 80's but even in the 80's this would not be acceptable.
